Valentine's 2 for 1

Despite the pre-established visual identity of the car wash brand, every once in a while I get to design an adjusted campaign look under the supervision of the AD.

On Valentine’s the direction was clear: pink, hearts, doubles. Though I experience little to none challenge with the design, I got to problem solving at production. As always, Perfect ads are distributed across print and digital, at various touch points, requiring a flexible design as well as a flexible designer.

With this campaign we covered various social media advertising variations and prints at St1 gas stations featuring Perfect car washes. I was left longing animated heart bubbles which, unfortunately, weren't included in the campaign.
Opening Campaign for Wash Avenues

Wash Avenues,  easy-access and fast self-service car wash stations, were already lightly advertised the previous year leaving the launch campaign for early spring 2024. I was at a key position assisting with the design of the previous campaign offering me a good insight and some preliminary assets for the campaign at hand.

Consisting of both daytime and nocturnal materials situated close to Itäkeskus and Tullinpuomi stations, a straight-to-the-point approach was utilised in both the visuals and copy. The fun began at After Effects where splashes of water along with speedy ribbons and shiny cars brought the design to life. My personal favourite "little extra touch" was the slight glow applied to the text elements in the nocturnal versions. More shine, less queue!
